Nam Long and its impressive EHome projects

In 2008, while the high-end real estate segment was booming, Nam Long announced the EHome product line pricing around only VND 10 million/m2. For over a decade, the brand has always been the spearhead of the company.

EHome 1, launched in 2008 is the first EHome project

EHome is Nam Long’s housing development program for middle-income earners with three main criteria: ecological sustainability, economic investment, and efficiency of use.

This product line is built in residential areas in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces, as part of the overall urban planning of the city, with convenient transportation connections, preparing for the economic and social growth in the future.

EHome 1 (EHome Dong Sai Gon) was the first project that Nam Long implemented in 2008. At the time of launch, 100% of the inventory was sold in a short time. The following projects with this product line were warmly welcomed.

Especially between 2011 and 2013, the most difficult period of the market, while real estate inventory was piled up, more than 1,300 EHome apartments were still selling quickly .

With a price of under VND 1 billion for a 2-bedroom apartment, EHome makes the dream of  having a house come true for the majority of customers with income from VND 10 - 15 million/month. Since the first project in 2008, more than 5,000 apartments have been delivered, providing thousands of families with the opportunity to settle down.

In the projects, residents enjoy a quality living environment with spacious green coverage and facilities including swimming pool, basketball court, park, community club... According to Nam Long's representative, sometimes people with middle-income prefer to rent rather than buy cheap houses with low quality.

To build projects with high quality at affordable costs, Nam Long has spent a lot of time consulting and learning from experience in low-cost housing development programs from many countries such as Thailand, Singapore, the Netherlands, Mexico... to find a suitable direction for the company as well as to fit the economy, culture, and needs of most Vietnamese people.

2021 was an important turning point for Nam Long when its first international partner, Nishi Nippon Railroad (Japan) participated in developing the EHome products in the Southgate project. Not only bringing improvements in design, materials, the companionship of a 100-year-old enterprise also proves the vision and common mission of professional real estate developers: jointly creating a living environment, valuable products for the community.

EHome Southgate is located at the gateway to Waterpoint townnship, about 45 minutes drive from Ho Chi Minh City via Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong expressway. The project covers an area of 4.5 hectares, including 7 blocks, providing more than 1,400 apartments to the market. Of which, more than 700 products in phases 1 and 2 have been delivered, residing hundreds of families.

With a price from only VND 1 billion/50m², Southgate residents enjoy a convenient living environment with two layers of facilities, internal facilities and township facilities of the 355-ha Waterpoint. Some outstanding facilities can be mentioned such as an 8-km bike path, a 13-km running track, a sports and event complex of 3 hectares.

As the affordable housing supply continues to run short while demand is still high, Nam Long has recently launched more than 500 EHome Southgate apartments with a unit price of only around VND 20 million/m² along with flexible payment policies, helping young families with house purchasing problems.

For the market, affordable housing is a "fire starter" to "break the ice" after each crisis period. For Nam Long, product lines like EHome have always been a spearhead strategy, and also a way for businesses to support the market towards balanced and sustainable development.

In the long-term strategy, Nam Long continues to prioritize resources to expand land funds and develop affordable housing products, build policies to support homebuyers, and contribute to national housing development strategies.
