Nam Long Fresh 2023: Continuing the journey to increase awareness for “Green living”

From June 4th to 30th, Nam Long Group continued to organize its annual activities to raise awareness of "green living" for the community.

Nam Long Fresh operation has been maintained and built up by Nam Long Group in recent years in response to the United Nations' 17 sustainable development goals and to address major environmental challenges.

This year, Nam Long Corporation and Limloop, a social enterprise that specializes in recycled fashion and supports people with disabilities, have collaborated to organize the Nam Long Fresh Tour - Nam Long Green Station program. The program aims to promote environmental awareness and support disadvantaged groups in the community with the message "Join Hands to Build a Green Planet".

Talking about this, Nam Long Group's CEO, Tran Xuan Ngoc, affirmed the opportunity for the community and employees to join hands in building green townships and green office spaces to improve living quality and working environment. It will also be a source of inspiration, contributing to spreading the "green living" consciousness to people, towards building sustainable cities and communities.

The Nam Long Green Station is a facility that accepts used materials such as paper, plastic, nylon, and batteries and repurposes them, giving them a new lease of life instead of letting them pollute the environment as waste. The nylon bags collected will be transformed into fashionable products with an eco-friendly spirit by people with disabilities employed at Limloop. This model not only helps to reduce the negative impact on the environment but also provides a source of income for disadvantaged groups in society. This is the foundation for the partnership between Nam Long Group and Limloop in organizing the Nam Long Fresh Tour - Nam Long Green Station this year.

During its 30 years of development, Nam Long Group has allocated essential resources for implementing many other community responsibility activities in various fields such as education, healthcare, and environmental protection.

Among them, some notable activities include the "Swing for Dreams" scholarship that supports talented students in difficult circumstances; the "Nam Long supports the fight against Covid-19" campaign that donated VND 20 billion to the frontline during the pandemic, investment a bridge and road system worth over VND 5 billion for people in Long An province; support for the "Clean Water for Schools" program for 130 schools in Bac Binh district (Binh Thuan province), ... These remarks have reached millions of families in various localities across the country.
