A pivotal moment in Nam Long’s journey to becoming a township developer occurred in 2002 when the company broke ground on the 28-hectare Nam Long Tân Thuận Đông township in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. Today, this township, surrounded by the Saigon River, has become a thriving residential area for thousands of families and a bustling commercial hub.
Nam Long’s leaders at that time were not only trying to build houses or sell projects but also aimed to create quality living environments that meet international standards for the Vietnamese community. In 2015, Nam Long officially partnered with two experienced foreign investors, Hankyu Hanshin Properties and Nishi Nippon Railroad from Japan, marking the launch of the Flora Anh Đào project. This collaboration has led to several projects and townships reflecting a unique Vietnam-Japan synergy, enriching the Vietnamese real estate market.
Following Flora Anh Đào, in 2016, Nam Long and its Japanese partners launched Fuji Residence (5.38 hectares) and Kikyo Residence (5.3 hectares) in Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City. The comprehensive collaboration regarding investment, development, management, and operation between these three reputable names has resulted in high-quality living spaces. This is evidenced by the over 90% occupancy rate in these townships.
In their townships, the developer not only constructs homes but also establishes a lifestyle for the community by integrating comprehensive amenities, services, and resident engagement activities. Among these, Mizuki Park (26 hectares) in Bình Chánh, Ho Chi Minh City, stands out as a project where Nam Long invested significant effort, pioneering the integrated township model to meet five core needs: living, learning, working, recreation, and shopping. Launched in 2017, Mizuki Park marked the first large-scale collaboration between Nam Long and its two Japanese partners.
The township offers over 4,600 detached apartments, 170 townhouses, and 44 villas upon completion. To date, the component projects have been handed over as promised, including Flora Mizuki MP1-10, Flora Panorama, and The Mizuki villas, welcoming over 3,600 families and establishing Mizuki Park as a vibrant residential hub in southern Ho Chi Minh City.
Mizuki Park is distinguished by its harmonious natural landscape and a range of modern urban amenities, with over 71% of the area dedicated to green spaces and public facilities. Key facilities, such as an 8,700 m² event park and a 3,800 m² Marina Square, have been operational. In 2023, Mizuki Park was recognized in the “Top 10 Most Livable Townships in Vietnam,” affirming Nam Long’s efforts alongside its Japanese partners to enhance Vietnam’s urban landscape.
Nam Long’s portfolio of livable projects continues to expand with Akari City, the “City of Lights,” located on Võ Văn Kiệt Boulevard in Bình Tân, Ho Chi Minh City. This is the fifth project developed in collaboration with two Japanese partners, spanning 8.5 hectares and developed in three phases, providing over 5,000 Flora apartments to the market. Phase one was completed and handed over at the end of 2021, now home to over 1,800 families.
At the end of October, 1,707 units from Akari City Phase Two began their handover as scheduled. With its modern appearance and well-finished amenities right at the doorstep, Akari City is gradually brightening the lives of its residents at this key connection point in the western region.
One of the most prominent integrated townships illustrating Nam Long’s mark as a comprehensive real estate developer is the 355-hectare Waterpoint township. Initiated in 2003, Nam Long meticulously prepared by seeking planning, design, and landscaping partners; organizing an international planning competition; and developing amenities before officially launching the project in 2019. Recently, a range of amenities, including an international school, a multi-specialty clinic, and a grocery supermarket, have been launched, continually enhancing the appearance of this leading satellite township in the southwest, serving the needs of residents and the local population.
Located at the heart of the modern urban complex in eastern Ho Chi Minh City, Izumi City (170 hectares) in Biên Hòa, Đồng Nai, is also one of Nam Long’s key projects. The integrated Izumi City township is being developed into nine subdivisions, with over 10,000 products, promising to be a new, modern, and dynamic urban center along the prosperous Đồng Nai River.
At the end of 2023, Nam Long began handing over 275 units from Phase One of the project. With a gated compound model, exclusive internal amenities, and multi-layer security, Izumi City Phase One offers a modern living environment amidst nature, revitalizing the urban landscape in the east.
In the Tay Do region, Nam Long is among the pioneering investors in creating model townships. From the first project launched in 2002—Nam Long Cần Thơ 1 (23 hectares)—to Nam Long Hồng Phát (16 hectares) in 2016, Nam Long-branded townships have gradually become a source of pride for local residents.
Nam Long II Central Lake (43.8 hectares) marks the third significant project by Nam Long in the southwestern capital. The township boasts impressive metrics, with 60% of the area dedicated to green spaces, over 30 diverse amenities, and a central lake park larger than 3 hectares.
