Grand opening of the 10 bridges sponsored by Nam Long in Long An

On December 29, the People's Committee of Ben Luc district, Long An province and the Organizing Committee of the Rural Bridge Program from Vietnam Rural Magazine held the  grand opening ceremony of 10 bridges in the area. 

Former president Truong Tan Sang, Chairman of Ben Luc People's Committee Tran Van Tuoi and representatives of relevant departments and sponsors attended the ceremony.

These 10 bridges are part of the Rural Bridge Program - Vietnam Rural Magazine, campaigned by former President Truong Tan Sang and sponsored by Nam Long VCD Joint Stock Company, a member of Nam Long Group.

 Among these 10 bridges, Nam Long contributed VND 4 billion to build 5 bridges at Ben Luc’s key locations including: 3 Long bridge (An Thanh commune), 7 Canh bridge, Ba Lieu bridge, Kenh Dung bridge, inter-hamlet bridge 3-5 (An Thanh commune).

At the ceremony, former President Truong Tan Sang highlighted the spirit of solidarity, the support of sponsors, and encouraged businesses to continue supporting the locality in social security programs, contributing to socio-economic development, and improving people's quality of life.

These bridges have a meaningful purpose in making travel as well as transportation of goods and agricultural products easier for people in the area, and especially, providing a safe route to school for hundreds of local children.

The new and spacious bridge creates convenient and safe travel for local people and students

After 30 years of establishment, along with sustainable business, Nam Long has carried out many social projects in different fields, including welfare, education and community development… The investment of billions dong to build bridges in district Ben Luc, Long An once again demonstrated Nam Long's commitment to social responsibility.
