Nestled on the alluvial plains of Vietnam's most poetic river, Vam Co Dong, and embraced by 5.8km of riverfront, Waterpoint is constantly evolving, revealing a modern, international-standard appearance while preserving the unique and familiar characteristics of the Southwestern riverine region. It's poised to become a high-class satellite city bordering Ho Chi Minh City.
The township boasts a prime location on Provincial Road 830, at the intersection of Ho Chi Minh City and Long An, connecting the two key economic regions of the Southeast and Southwest. It's just over 30 minutes from downtown Ho Chi Minh City and directly benefits from a series of accelerated, key transportation projects: Ring Road 3, Ring Road 4, Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway, and the expansion of the HCMC - Trung Luong - My Thuan Expressway.
Waterpoint is known as a model in township development due to its valuable planning indicators: a construction density of only 23%, a population density of just 84 people/ha, green spaces and water bodies covering up to 95ha, and over 8km of winding canals. The comprehensive utility system includes a 3ha sports and event complex; a marina; community clubs; a nearly 7,000m2 Vietnamese-Japanese cultural village; an over 6ha EMASI Plus international bilingual boarding school; a polyclinic; a San Ha Foodstore Plus supermarket; and local restaurants, all of which are already operational. Notably, a 13km pedestrian network and an 8km cycling path are planned to connect throughout the township, ensuring easy and convenient movement for residents. The area also features internal bus stops and services, with a maximum distance of only 500m between each stop.
Recently, the township has also become a prominent venue for cultural, entertainment, and sports events in the western part of Ho Chi Minh City, such as marathon races, New Year's Eve fireworks, national-level tennis tournaments, grassroots and regional football tournaments, and special festive season programs, etc.
