Nam Long ADC and Nishi-Nippon Railroad signed the strategic partnership
According to the signed agreement, upon completion of the transaction, Nam Long will hold a 51% stake and Nishi-Nippon Railroad will hold a 49% stake in the Joint Venture. As a strategic shareholder, Nishi-Nippon Railroad will actively participate in governance and management, leveraging its strengths in design, operations, and technical expertise to optimize project performance and long-term value.
Following the partnership, Nam Long ADC targets a growth of 80% by 2030 and the delivery of over 22,000 housing units by 2035. This roadmap is designed to help address the shortage of social and affordable housing in Vietnam, where current demand reaches 100,000 units per year while actual supply remains significantly low. According to the Ministry of Construction’s report, four projects with a total scale of fewer than 580 units were completed in the first quarter of 2026.
Nishi-Nippon Railroad has partnered with Nam Long Group at the project level for more than 10 years. As a member of the Nishitetsu Group, one of Japan’s most long-standing multi-sector conglomerates with over 100 years of experience in transportation, logistics, real estate, and hospitality, Nishi-Nippon Railroad is dedicated to creating value-driven living environments for the community, particularly for first-time homebuyers and young families. Building on this foundation, Nishi-Nippon Railroad’s current collaboration at the corporate level reaffirms the Japanese partner’s trust and long-term commitment to Nam Long Group, while simultaneously enabling Nam Long ADC to strengthen its comprehensive capabilities:
- Enhancing capital resources and financial management: Nishi-Nippon Railroad provides unconditional funding. This new capital will be prioritized for the acquisition and development of land banks in the coming period.
- Elevating quality standards: Nishi-Nippon Railroad will transfer advanced construction methods and Japanese quality standards to all upcoming projects. Furthermore, Nishi-Nippon Railroad will provide a dedicated team of experts to support Nam Long ADC in design optimization, material selection, and the establishment of professional quality control processes.
- Committing to social well-being: The partnership is built upon a shared philosophy of sustainable development and the creation of value-driven living environments. Nam Long ADC and Nishi-Nippon Railroad are united in the goal to provide the vast majority of Vietnamese people, particularly first-time homebuyers and young families, with access to high-quality housing.
