Akari City responding to the living demand in West HCMC

Project Akari City launched block Ak-9 of phase 2 to respond to the increasing living demand in West HCMC.

CBRE Vietnam's report shows that the supply of new apartments in Ho Chi Minh City in Q1/2022 decreased by 48% compared to the same period in 2021, despite the average price of apartments in the primary market increased by 7.7% compared to the same period in 2021. In Q2, the market has become more active, although the supply of apartments has increased, it mainly comes from a few projects which launch next stages.

In Q2, Ho Chi Minh City market added nearly 13,000 apartments, mainly high-end and luxury products, without mid-end apartments, leading to an increase in apartment prices in HCMC. According to the report by a market research company, apartment prices in Ho Chi Minh City recorded an increase of approxinmately 9% compared to the previous quarter.

Some experts said that currently, the demand is great, but it is difficult for people to find a resident project at a reasonable price. Even investors are being more cautious when banks tighten home loan policy.

In response to the increasing demand, Nam Long partnered with two Japanese investors, Hankyu Hanshin Properties and Nishi Nippon Railroad, to develop Akari City. This is the fifth project that they jointly invest and develop, following Flora Anh Dao, Flora Fuji, Flora Kikyo and Flora Mizuki. As the largest apartment complex deployed on Vo Van Kiet Boulevard, Akari City provides the market with 5,000 Flora Condominium apartments, which have been improved and upgraded by the investor in terms of design and finishing materials. The project is expected to supply quality products and facilities for the market in the West in the coming time.

Planned and designed from the concept of a multi-facility residential city, Akari City caters to the needs of residents with a diverse and self-contained facility system, including living, eating, entertaining, and learning needs.

In addition to the township facility system, each apartment cluster in Akari City also integrates exclusive facilities, ensuring maximum security for each family. When completed, Akari City will become the bustling township in the West, creating a vibrant and modern lifestyle while maintaining the tranquility and privacy of each family.

According to Nam Long Group, Akari City phase 1 with 1,800 apartments has been handed over along with facilities such as parks, Japanese gardens, swimming pools, gym and yoga areas, kindergartens, children's playgrounds, BBQ areas, community clubs, etc. receiving many positive feedbacks from customers as it creates a modern lifestyle in the residential community.

Nam Long continues to launch block AK 9 of Akari City phase 2, after announcing two blocks AK 7, AK 8 in March. Block AK 9 has the best location in phase 2, next to the Light Square of 2,500 m2, connected to the 42-m commercial corridor and near the 1.8-ha Ngo Thoi Nhiem inter-school. As a result, the homebuyers can immerse in the modern rhythm of everyday life and enjoy a variety of facilities in the township.

At an expected price of VND 45 million per square meter, customers who buy apartments in block AK 9 are entitled to an installment policy of 50% divided in 30 months until receiving the house. In addition, like all other Nam Long’s projects in the market, customers who buy Akari City apartments in general, and block AK 9 in particular are supported with bank loans.

"As credit issuing policy for real estate is tightened, this will make it easier and safer for customers to buy apartments without a lot of savings," said Nam Long's representative.
