Nam Long joins Bac Giang to prevent and stop COVID-19

June 14, 2021, at Bac Giang’s Children Center, Nam Long Group’s (HOSE: NLG) representative handed donated medical supplies to Bac Giang’s Provincial Youth Union and Youth Association to carry out Covid-19 pandemic preventing and controlling activities in Bac Giang.

At the event, Mr. Nguyen Huu Thong - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union in Bac Giang, received all medical supplies worth VND 1,967,350,000 on behalf of Bac Giang’s youth force. This fund was raised from Nam Long Group’s management and staff as well as contributions from the company.

Speaking at the event, on behalf of the Bac Giang’s youth force, Mr. Nguyen Huu Thong - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union in Bac Giang, expressed his deep gratitude to the Nam Long’s management and employees for giving precious care and attention to Bac Giang during the battle against Covid-19 with very meaningful contributions. At the same time, Mr. Thong also affirmed that he would quickly distribute Nam Long’s supplies to localities and units affected by Covid-19 pandemic at the earliest time.

This event is part of a series of activities in the campaign “Nam Long contributing to fight against Covid-19 in 2021” with a total budget of VND 12 billion that Nam Long launched in the Vietnam, along with other activities including: contributing to State’s Vaccine fund, donating protective gears and medical equipment to frontline hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City and Bac Giang for tests, disease prevention, and treatment for patients

The program "Nam Long contributing to fight against Covid-19 pandemic” was initiated by Mr. Nguyen Xuan Quang, Nam Long Group’s Chairman in the 2020 outbreak with many meaningful activities, such as supporting border guard, medical workers, low-income workers in the battle against Covid-19, installing rice ATMs during the recovery period after each outbreak, etc.
