Nestled where rivers converge, nourishing the fertile land, Nam Long II Central Lake stands as a proud testament of Nam Long’s journey in creating integrated townships. It aims to establish a new standard of living, enhancing the regional township landscape to be professional, sustainable, and desirable.

Infusing Love into a Symbolic Township

From the early days in 1992, guided by the principle of “Together, we create living environments and valuable products for the communities,” Nam Long’s real estate development journey has been unique. The company doesn’t just build houses to sell; it integrates all accompanying services and amenities to create quality townships for the Vietnamese people.

Nam Long’s vision extends beyond mere housing; it aspires to create an integrated township where residents can enjoy a complete value system that supports a fulfilling life—ranging from services and commerce to education, recreation, and entertainment. This initiative aims to leave a legacy that witnesses the journey of life, where children grow up and elders enjoy a tranquil retirement.

Early on, with an eye toward international real estate standards and extensive experience in the Vietnamese market, Nam Long established a model of integrated townships based on four pillars: comprehensive planning, synchronized infrastructure, strategic destination development, and dedicated professional management processes. This approach aims to fully address the five pillars of living, learning, working, playing, and shopping. In the early 2000s, Nam Long’s leadership conducted numerous field surveys across the Mekong Delta provinces.

“At that time, the transportation system from Ho Chi Minh City to the Mekong Delta provinces was underdeveloped. Our team had to travel by ferry and then by boat to find clean land plots. This journey allowed us to appreciate the rich beauty of the waterways and recognize the significant development potential of Cần Thơ,” shared Mr. Quach Kim Dong, Director of Nam Long Mekong, a member company of Nam Long, who was directly involved in the initial projects in Can Tho.

“Can Tho has a charming, beautiful, and clean appearance, truly deserving of its title as the leading province of the Mekong Delta.”
— Pham Quynh, A Month in Nam Ky, page 138.

In the book A Month in Nam Ky (1918–1919), journalist Phạm Quỳnh uses many beautiful phrases to describe Can Tho, including the French phrase “la capitale de l’Ouest,” synonymous with “Tay Do” referring to the capital of the Mekong Delta region. This accurately reflects Can Tho’s central position as the gateway to the lower Mekong region, playing an important role in economic trade via waterways and roads during that historical period and remaining relevant to this day.

Can Tho, land of white rice and clear water. People come and never want to leave.

The famous saying resonates deeply with the local people, expressing their pride in this naturally blessed land. The rivers laden with silt nourish the fertile soil, supporting lush orchards and tranquil waterways, creating unique tourism potential and a lifestyle characterized by the rhythm of life on the water.

Each journey to these “promised lands” carries the aspiration to create new values while honoring local heritage, ensuring that projects and townships become integral to the region’s development. This demands that developers adopt a holistic approach to planning and development, appreciating the beauty of the land with a discerning eye.

The geography, climate, culture, and lifestyle of the people are values that Nam Long cherishes and promotes, ensuring they remain present in the real estate ecosystems built in Tay Do.

In 2002, Nam Long became the pioneering investor in Can Tho marking the introduction of a well-planned township project: Nam Long Can Tho 1, covering 23 hectares. Following this success, Nam Long Hong Phat, spanning 16 hectares, was launched in 2016 next to the first project, creating a vibrant urban lifestyle with a unique identity in the area.

At that time, the definition of “home” for the people of Can Tho was limited to traditional houses that sheltered them from the elements. Nam Long sought to create a living experience with progressive standards, where homes are part of a well-planned ecosystem with synchronized amenities and a friendly, civilized community.

Until today, residents take pride in referring to their home as “the township of Nam Long.”

A New Township Landmark in the Southwestern Region

The planning for the period 2021–2030, with a vision extending to 2050, identifies Can Tho township as one of four key urban areas in the country. Can Tho is positioned as a growth center driving economic and social development in the Mekong Delta. In this vision, Cần Thơ is actively seeking investments to develop new townships and ecological townships, aiming to elevate living standards in the region.

Nam Long II Central Lake is a prominent project contributing to the transformation of Can Tho’s township landscape. Covering a total area of 43.8 hectares, it is located in Hung Thanh Ward, Cai Rang District, within a key development area of southern Can Tho. This location is designed to harmonize with the natural ecosystem while providing easy access to a comprehensive range of amenities, including administrative centers, education, culture, logistics, commerce, and healthcare.

10 minutes to Ninh Kieu Wharf
20 minutes to Truc Lam Zen Monastery
25 minutes to Can Tho International Airport

Nam Long II Central Lake is highly regarded for its well-shaped land, surrounded by the Cái Da Canal that flows year-round and flanked by three 47-meter commercial axes, promising a vibrant and convenient commercial lifestyle right at the doorstep.

Building upon the successes of two previously established townships, Nam Long II Central Lake emerges as a new township landmark in the region, setting new living standards while preserving the unique identity of Can Tho —a land renowned for its poetic and lyrical heritage.

43.8 hectares of standard planning
~36% Building density
~3.36 hectares of the largest central lake park
~1.15 hectares for education
~30+ complete amenities
~1,700 m² for healthcare
~5,700 m² for sports and fitness clubs
~9,800 m² for commercial services

Few projects in Cần Thơ boast such ideal planning metrics as Nam Long II Central Lake. With a construction density of only 36%, the remaining area is dedicated to developing green landscapes and a comprehensive range of amenities that meet every need for sports, education, healthcare, recreation, commerce, and services.

The amenities are not just to tick off the checklist but are designed based on careful analysis of residents’ needs and desires, ensuring the criteria of a standard township: efficiency, ecology, economy, and sustainability. The space harmonizes economic development goals with a friendly resident experience. The infrastructure connecting the project internally and externally focuses on wide, interconnected roads, ranging from 8 to 47 meters, facilitating easy access to various amenities.

Nam Long offers not just apartments or houses, but a comfortable living environment that blends seamlessly with nature.

Embracing the Identity of Tay Do

“From Heart to Home,” Nam Long II Central Lake has been developed from a simple perspective, driven by a passion to create a home.

Two decades may not be long in the context of regional development, but it’s sufficient for a real estate developer to connect with and understand the local people and land. The new homes by Nam Long gently integrate local living into the township, preserving the identity of Tây Đô, allowing residents to experience familiar comforts despite living in a modern planned environment.

A lifestyle connected to the “orchards” and “waterways” has always been part of Can Tho’s culture, and this essence is reflected at Nam Long II Central Lake. Instead of maximizing housing density, Nam Long allocates over 60% of the land for greenery and amenities. At the heart of the township lies a central park of over 3 hectares, infusing daily life with the essence of the southern waterways.

Drawing inspiration from the community-oriented culture of the Mekong Delta, Nam Long has designed a system of community amenities and native vegetation around the central lake, encouraging residents to engage in community activities.

Recently, various cultural and recreational activities have been continuously organized at Nam Long II Central Lake, gradually making it a familiar destination for the people of Can Tho. From colorful kite festivals for children to giant yellow duck installations for youth to enjoy, as well as seasonal music nights and festivals for families to socialize, Nam Long II Central Lake preserves the lifestyle and values that characterize the generous, open, and sincere spirit of Tay Do. For this reason, every home at Nam Long II Central Lake is a point of pride for the people of Tay Do, just as residents of Nam Long Can Tho 1 and Nam Long Hong Phat have always felt proud to call it “home.”

Affirming the Positioning of Integrated Township Developer

In the final months of 2024, as the real estate market accelerates for the peak season, Can Tho is buzzing with excitement as Nam Long prepares to launch 274 products, including land lots and ready-built commercial houses at Nam Long II Central Lake.

In the context of a shortage of land supply in centrally controlled townships like Can Tho, these 274 low-rise products have quickly garnered enthusiastic reception from local residents and those from nearby provinces.

Previously, the first phase of the project was launched in 2021 and was also quickly absorbed by the market. Such positive reception at each launch phase is the result of serious preparation and investment over decades.

This is the accumulated experience of Nam Long, tested through 32 years of ups and downs. It represents a steadfast commitment to developing standard, well-planned, and sustainable integrated townships to create quality living spaces that meet international standards for Vietnamese people, alongside the development of townships in Vietnam. It also reflects a deep understanding and appreciation for the unique values of every region the company enters.

Accompanying Can Tho for over 20 years, Nam Long’s townships have witnessed the numerous changes in the capital of the Mekong Delta. From these townships, children have grown up in safety and happiness, grandparents have enjoyed peaceful lives, and happy homes have been nurtured.

Continuing the journey of establishing and spreading values, Nam Long II Central Lake is designed to become a new township landmark in Can Tho, blending the cultural identity of the waterways with modern township standards and conveniences.
